The response this year to the Flower Rota has been very encouraging but there are still a number of spaces left over the Summer Months. Some of you may have intended to contribute but have forgotten and may think about it now. There may be some with flowers in their garden who would be willing to supply these on a particular Sunday.

As you know the flowers are taken after church each Sunday to someone who is ill, unable to come to church or for a Special Celebration. Please speak to Sandra if you can help in any way. Thank you.

Can you spare a few hours a week? The British Red Gross provides a Medical Loans service, enabling people in need to access a wheelchair on a short term basis. We are currently recruiting volunteers to help operate our new outreach service located within Downe Hospital, Downpatrick.

Have you got 2 to 3 hours each week to help a family with young children? Home-Start are recruiting volunteers who can offer practical help and support to families with young children.

Home-Start are starting a new 8 week Preparation Course beginning Thursday 19th April from 10.00am - 1.00pm

Home-Start welcomes volunteers of all ages and backgrounds who have parenting experience and offers support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in local communities.

Over a number of years our church has had a prayer chain where prayer requests are passed down a chain of church members who are committed to pray for situations confidentially. It is particularly useful in circumstances where a need arises for urgent prayer.

Small change is weighing heavy in your pocket? JMA are collecting copper and silver coins in the buckets in the church foyer.

This will go to support projects in Haiti and through Home Missions.
