Over a number of years our church has had a prayer chain where prayer requests are passed down a chain of church members who are committed to pray for situations confidentially. It is particularly useful in circumstances where a need arises for urgent prayer.

We would like to encourage more people to share in this ministry so if you feel you would like to join the prayer chain please speak to David

Recipe Book

Don't forget our Recipe Book is still available, packed with tried and tested tasty recipes its a great addition to any kitchen or makes a great gift.

The Recipies cover Starters, Soups, Meat, Fish, Vegetarian options and of course my favourites Desert, Cakes, Jam and Biscuits.

Can you help provide a brighter Christmas for disadvantaged families in the community by doing one of the following? Purchasing a toy for a disadvantaged child (ages 0 -16). Donating a non-perishable food item.

Deadline for donations is Sunday 6th December A list of suitable toys/items is available to pick up as you leave

Prayer focus for each day highlights areas for prayer across the Irish Methodist Family while Methodist News offers comment on wider events and issues.

Parts of the Body Fireside Quiz Sheets are being sold to raise funds for the Manse Building Fund.

Please take some to pass on to your friends. Cost £1.00 each

On Sunday the 1st February we hope to have 'The Big Sing' where the entire service will consist of the hymns and songs chosen from the list above.

Pick your favourite 4 songs from the list and put the song numbers on the slip attached. Then put the slip in the box in the hallway (by next Sunday - 25th Jan).

We will use the most popular choices for'The Big Sing'.

If you would like to share why a song or hymn is your favourite or means something special to you-so if you would be prepared to do this - just write your name beside the song number you would like to share about.

At the moment 6 ladies arrange the flowers and are responsible for 2 months each. We would be delighted to have more helpers, we are not experts, so if you feel you could help it would be greatly appreciated.

President of the Methodist Church In Ireland Rev Aian Ferguson will be joining us on Rememberence Sunday, 9th November. Following Morning Worship there will be a Church Family Lunch. Everyone is welcome but booking is essential
